Review
Check out a review of the Carlton Sessions EP here.
Hi Everyone,
Had an amazing night on Saturday at The Renfrew Ferry and the band felt as if it was our best gig ever. Neil, the sound engineer, got everything spot on and was a thoroughly nice chap to boot. We can’t thank him enough. Cheers also to everyone who came down to support us. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. Those of you who have been to our recent shows may be familiar with a couple of new tracks we are gigging - “Rollin’ on Home” and “Bigger & Weaker”. We are really proud of these tracks and hope to get them recorded as part of a new EP soon. Watch this space.
The other week two-fifths of The Scuffers were also pleased to be involved in Tom Morton’s Big (Lunch) Break up at Hootenanays in Inverness. We played a stripped-down set with just acoustic guitar and mandolin which seemed to go down well with the northern punters. We also played with a couple of cracking acts, including Yvonne Lyon and The Acoustic Love Experience, and of course Tam M himself. With a bit of luck we will make it back up to Hoots with the full band soon.
Check out a couple of pics from the Ferry in the gallery.
Cheers for now
