Here are the full details of our album launch night at FURY MURRY’S on SATURDAY 10TH NOVEMBER:

Tickets for this event cost just £2 - Yes, only two pounds of the realm. Not to be sniffed at!

For your two gold coins, you get entry into the gig (8 to 10:30pm), free entry to the dancin’ afterwards. PLUS, your ticket entitles you to £2 Off the price of the album, which is being sold on the night!

Upon it’s release on 10th November, our debut album ‘The Life I’ve Had’ will be available to buy on CD for £7, but will be available on the night (for one night only) for £5 when you present your ticket stub.

The Scuffers will release their debut album ‘The Life I’ve Had’ on Miracle Town Records on Saturday 10th November 2007. To celebrate the album’s release,The Scuffers will be playing a special album launch gig at Fury Murry’s on the evening of the 10th, supported by Dropkick. Albums will be available to purchase on the night. Ticket details will follow soon.

The recording is over and the finishing touches are being done. We are all very pleased with the results and we hope you like it too. The album was produced once again by Danny Mitchell at Carlton Studios - a talented bloke and all round good egg! A million thanks to Danny and thanks to Barney for the tea.

Looks like the album release date and associated launch night willl be Saturday 10th November. Make sure it’s penned in the diary with a black marker, you’re cordially invited of course. Venue TBC at this stage.

Currently in the planning stages for our debut album. We’ll be recording in August and will launch the album, with a stonking great-big launch party, probably in November. We’re going back to Carlton Studios to record with our main man Danny Mitchell, and we’re looking to push the boat out a bit more by adding in a few new instruments (with a little help from some friends).

Big Gav guested on Paul ‘Clarky’ Clarkson’s dedicated Americana Radio Show - The Switchback - on Sunny Govan FM. A couple of Scuffers tracks were played on the show and Gavin talked about the band and some of his influences, as well as indulging in a bit of patter with Americana’s answer to Tiger Tim. I shall post the show here as soon as it’s available.

Had a blast on our recent Highland ‘tour’. 2 great dates at The Arch Inn, Ullapool and Hootenanny’s, Inverness, supporting the magic AJ Roach. Thanks a million to Mr Rob Ellen for putting us on, and for having us on his radio show at Loch Broom FM. I’ll try to get hold of the recording and link to it somewhere soon.
